D'ARTANYAN

D'ARTANYAN F1 is a medium-maturing, bee-pollinated hybrid with female flowering, intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic covers. The period from emergence to the start of fruiting is 40-45 days, allowing for an early harvest. The plant is medium-height with a cluster or bouquet-type fruiting, ensuring uniform and stable fruiting. For greenhouses, it is recommended to grow on trellises, while in open ground, sowing should be done at the end of May to early June, observing optimal spacing between plants.

The fruits of D'ARTANYAN cucumber are 7-9 cm long and weigh 80-107 g, cylindrical in shape with large warts and white spines. The cucumbers are firm, crisp, and free of bitterness, making them suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, and canning. The length-to-diameter ratio is approximately 2.9:1, giving the fruits an attractive appearance and ease of use.

The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to major cucumber diseases, including cucumber mosaic virus and powdery mildew, which helps maintain plant health and stable yields. For successful cultivation, sowing should be done in early April as seedlings, followed by transplanting in early May, along with regular watering with warm water and fertilization with organic and mineral fertilizers every 7-10 days. Such a complex of agronomic measures ensures full development of plants and the achievement of high-quality harvests.
