Expedition

Expedition F1 cucumber is a parthenocarpic hybrid intended for cultivation during the winter-spring period, primarily in plastic greenhouses. Plants of this variety have a female flowering type with two female flowers forming in each node, which promotes high fruit set. Expedition belongs to indeterminate, highly branched plants with large green leaves, ensuring active growth and high crop productivity.

Fruits of the Expedition cucumber have a medium length of 17-23 cm, cylindrical shape with a warty surface and white spines. The zucchini are white in color, weighing between 170 and 280 grams, and possess excellent taste, making them ideal for salad use. The variety demonstrates high market yield, reaching 13-15 kg per square meter, confirming its effectiveness for commercial cultivation.

A distinctive feature of this variety is its resistance to diseases such as olive spot and cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), significantly reducing the risk of crop loss and minimizing the need for chemical protection. Moreover, Expedition cucumbers, like all cucumbers, are a nutritious product containing vitamins A, B, C, K, as well as minerals that support health and hydration due to their high water content.
