Description

Cucumber variety "Green Special Forces" is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid with female flowering, intended for cultivation both in greenhouses and in open ground. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is 40-45 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plant is indeterminate and medium-branched, with 2 to 3, sometimes up to 5, fruits forming at each node, contributing to high yield. Fruits are dark green with light stripes and slight mottling, approximately 10 cm long and weighing 95 to 110 grams. They are white-stemmed and of universal use, suitable for both fresh consumption and canning.

Fruiting of this hybrid is prolonged and abundant, with uniform fruiting, making it attractive for gardeners and farmers. The taste qualities of the cucumbers are excellent, confirming their versatility in cooking. For seedling production, sowing seeds is recommended at the end of April, and transplanting into greenhouses at the end of May or beginning of June, using a planting scheme of 40x40 cm. Direct sowing into greenhouses in May–early June is also possible, allowing flexible planning of agronomic activities.

"Green Special Forces" seeds retain germination viability up to 7 years under optimal storage conditions; however, after expiration, it is recommended to increase the sowing rate to ensure good germination. The optimal soil temperature for seed germination is 25–30 degrees Celsius. All these characteristics make this hybrid a reliable and productive choice for growing cucumbers under various conditions.
