Gurman

Gurman cucumber is a mid-early, high-yielding hybrid variety characterized by a strong, vigorous plant with a main stem length of 2 to 2.5 meters. The vegetative period ranges from 45 to 56 days, allowing for early and stable harvests as early as July-August. The plants have medium branching and abundant green foliage, while mixed flowering type promotes good fruit formation. This variety is bee-pollinated and has a simple fruit set, ensuring reliable fruiting.

The fruits of Gurman cucumber are cylindrical, 12-14 cm long, and weigh about 70-75 grams. Their skin is thin, smooth, and intensely green with characteristic light longitudinal stripes. The cucumbers are not prone to yellowing, have juicy, tender flesh without bitterness, and possess a pleasant aroma and flavor. Due to these qualities, the variety is excellent for both fresh consumption and canning. To maintain high fruit quality, daily harvesting is recommended.

The Gurman variety exhibits high resistance to bacterial spot, olive spot, and immunity to anthracnose, significantly simplifying care and increasing cultivation reliability. Especially high yields are achieved when grown under plastic cover. Average yield ranges from 11.1 to 12.4 kg per square meter, making this variety an attractive choice for gardeners seeking stable and high-quality cucumber harvests.
