IRBIS

Cucumber IRBIS F1 is a high-yielding, mid-early maturing hybrid with a cluster-type fruit set, forming 3-5 fruits per axil. The fruits are cylindrical, ribbed, and dark green, reaching a length of 12-14 cm. Due to its genetic absence of bitterness, IRBIS cucumbers have a crisp texture and pleasant taste, making them ideal for fresh consumption, pickling, and marinating.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major fungal diseases, including cucumber mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and powdery mildew, significantly simplifying care and increasing harvest reliability. A key feature of this variety is its adaptation to high temperatures, allowing successful cultivation during the late summer and autumn in open ground without the need for agrotextiles. Additionally, IRBIS F1 tolerates prolonged transportation and has good storability, making it attractive for commercial cultivation.

To achieve maximum yield, seeds should be sown in the second half of May, with row spacing of 80-100 cm and plant spacing of 10-15 cm. Optimal growing conditions include humus-rich soils with high water retention and neutral pH, enriched with organic fertilizers such as manure or compost. Fruits ripen gradually from July to September, enabling continuous harvest throughout the season.
