Cucumber variety Carnival is a hybrid developed at the Western Siberian Vegetable Experimental Station and recommended for cultivation in the 3rd and 4th daylight zones. This variety is intended for garden plots and is optimal for spring-summer turnover using plastic coverings. The plant is long-vined, weakly and moderately leafy, with large dark green leaves and female flowering, which contributes to good fruit formation.

The fruits of the Carnival cucumber have an oval shape, a length of about 14.5–14.8 cm, and a weight ranging from 126 to 176 grams. The variety is characterized by a medium-early maturity, entering fruiting on day 48–55 after full emergence. It is resistant to bacterial disease, ensuring stable yields and reducing the risk of infection. Marketable yield ranges from 8.1 to 11.5 kg per square meter in the 3rd daylight zone and reaches 12 kg per square meter in the 4th daylight zone.

Carnival is suitable for both fresh consumption and canning due to its excellent flavor qualities. It is recommended to grow this variety under plastic coverings, which allows extending the season and increasing yield. Thanks to its characteristics, the Carnival cucumber is a versatile choice for gardeners aiming to obtain a high-quality and tasty harvest.
