Lenara

Lenara F1 cucumber is a new parthenocarpic hybrid of cornichon type, developed by the Dutch breeding company Rijk Zwaan. This self-pollinating variety is characterized by high yield and early maturity — fruits are ready for harvest as early as 38-40 days after planting. Lenara F1 is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic and glass greenhouses, making it a versatile solution for various climatic conditions and cultivation technologies.

The plant is open and compact, with a strong structure and good regeneration after stressful situations. It forms a small number of lateral branches, which simplifies care and promotes even fruiting. Lenara F1 withstands fruit loads throughout the entire cultivation period, ensuring stable and high commercial yield.

The fruits of Lenara F1 cucumber are large-suckered, dark green, with a length-to-diameter ratio of approximately 3.2:1. The flesh has a dense structure, juiciness, and excellent taste qualities, with no bitterness genetically present. Thanks to these characteristics, the cucumber is ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling, marinating, and preservation, making it popular both in the fresh produce market and in processing.
