MARACAU

MARACAU — an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid of salad cucumber, intended for cultivation in polyethylene greenhouses and open ground. The plant is indeterminate, strongly branching, with a predominance of female flowers, ensuring high yield and stable fruiting. The hybrid features a strong root system and high growth vigor, contributing to good adaptation to various growing conditions.

MARACAU fruits have a medium length of 12-13 cm and a weight of 110-120 g, with dark green coloration and a medium-ribbed surface with retained spines even under hot conditions. The fruit skin is uniform and dense, ensuring high product quality. The hybrid is resistant to true powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus, and yellowing vein virus, significantly reducing disease risks and yield losses.

MARACAU is suitable for spring-summer cropping and intended for fresh use, especially in salads. Due to its parthenocarpic flowering type, the hybrid does not require pollination, simplifying agronomy and enhancing yield stability.
