Myth

Cucumber variety 'Myth' is a high-yielding, early-maturing hybrid intended for cultivation both in open ground and under cover. The fruits are cylindrical, 17–23 cm long, weighing approximately 150–160 g, with uniform, crisp, aromatic flesh free of bitterness. This variety boasts high marketability, transportability, and storability, making it convenient for commercial cultivation and sale.

Hybrid 'Myth' is resistant to a range of diseases, including true and false powdery mildew, olive spot, cucumber mosaic virus, and root rots. It exhibits enhanced shade tolerance and tolerance to adverse conditions, contributing to stable, high yields reaching up to 24 kg per square meter. Fruit set begins early, on day 47–53 after germination, enabling the harvest of fresh cucumbers in a short time.

For successful cultivation of variety 'Myth', seeds should be sown at a depth of 1–2 cm at a germination temperature of 13–15°C, with an optimal growth temperature of 25–30°C. The crop prefers light, fertile soils rich in humus, as well as sunny, wind-protected locations. Care includes regular watering with warm water and fertilization, weeding, and soil loosening. Cucumbers of this variety are suitable for fresh consumption, salad preparation, as well as for pickling and brining due to their excellent flavor qualities.
