PHILIPPONNA — a medium-early parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid with predominantly female flowering, intended for cultivation in open ground, under plastic covers, and in spring-summer unheated greenhouses. The period from germination to the onset of fruiting is 46-48 days. The plant is vigorous with a strong root system, ensuring its resilience and high productivity.

The fruits of the PHILIPPONNA cucumber are cylindrical, large-buckled, white-stemmed, approximately 10 cm long and weighing from 85 to 112 g. The cucumbers have a dense consistency, absence of cavities and bitterness, and high aromatic quality. They practically do not overgrow, facilitating harvest and ensuring stable product quality. The flavor of this hybrid is considered excellent, making it suitable for fresh consumption as well as for pickling, marinating, and preservation.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield — over 10 kg per square meter. It is resistant to cucumber mosaic virus and cladosporiosis, and it is tolerant to false powdery mildew, significantly reducing disease risks and yield losses.
