Cucumber variety PRAKTIC is a medium-early, high-yielding hybrid developed for cultivation in plastic greenhouses. The plant is strong-growing with vigorous branching and good regenerative capacity, ensuring stable fruit formation. The period from germination to harvest is 45-52 days, allowing fresh cucumbers to be harvested relatively quickly.
The fruits of PRAKTIC cucumber are cylindrical, white-stemmed, and large-budded, measuring 17 to 21 cm in length and 3.5-4.0 cm in diameter, with a weight of 180-200 g. They have a crisp texture and excellent flavor, making them ideal for fresh consumption as well as pickling and canning. The green color with short stripes gives the fruits an attractive appearance.
The variety is characterized by high resistance to cucumber mosaic virus, root rot, powdery mildew, and olive spot, as well as increased shade tolerance.
