Projector

Cucumber Projector is a fast-maturing variety that begins fruiting on day 39-42 after sowing. The plant is long-vining, with oval-cylindrical fruits 9-12 cm long, covered with black hairs and a rough surface. The fruits have high taste and commercial qualities, making them suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and pickling. The variety is valued for its resistance to bacterial wilt and powdery mildew, especially in late sowings, ensuring a stable yield even under difficult growing conditions.

Cucumber Projector seeds germinate at 12-13℃, with an optimal growth temperature of around 25℃. Recommended sowing rate is 5-6 seeds per linear meter, planted at a depth of 2.5-3 cm and row spacing of 70-90 cm. When stored properly, seeds remain viable for 6-8 years. Plants respond well to both organic and mineral fertilizers, which helps increase yield and fruit quality.

Projector has female flowering and parthenocarpic fruiting, meaning fruits form without pollination and contain no seeds. 2-3 fruits form per node, contributing to high productivity. Fruits are dark green, free of bitterness, have good transportability and uniformity, even under stress conditions. Due to its disease resistance and hardiness, cucumber Projector is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses.
