Cucumber Vertina F1 is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid of cornichon type, intended for cultivation in open ground. Plants are compact with strong growth vigor and short internodes, promoting the formation of multiple fruits per node. Fruits have a uniform dark green color, large-warted surface, and cylindrical shape, with length-to-diameter ratio approximately 3.1:1. Average fruit length is about 11 cm; they retain density and crispness even after canning, making them ideal for fresh consumption, pickling, and salted preparation.

Vertina F1 is characterized by high productivity, stable yield, and excellent fruit marketability, which remain consistent throughout the harvesting period. Plants feature a robust root system and good regenerative capacity, ensuring resilience to extreme growing conditions and heat tolerance. The hybrid also exhibits resistance to major cucumber diseases, including downy mildew, powdery mildew, and cladosporiosis, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses.

Due to its characteristics, Vertina F1 is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and ensures a stable harvest with high-quality fruits. Plants produce fruit on the central stem, and fruits do not yellow or lose their crispness after processing. Optimal planting density is 350-450 plants per 100 m², promoting maximum yield and efficient land use.
