ZAVALINKA

Cucumber 'Zavalinka' F1 is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid intended for cultivation both in open ground and in polyethylene greenhouses. This variety is characterized by high yield and versatility, allowing successful cultivation under various conditions, including home gardens. Sowing seeds is recommended in April-May to ensure optimal timing for obtaining a high-quality harvest.

The plant is medium-height, indeterminate, with high regenerative ability and a tendency to form clusters of fruiting nodes — up to four cucumbers per node. 'Zavalinka' cucumbers have a spindle shape, large-bumpy surface with frequent bumps, green color, and white spines. Fruit mass ranges from 85 to 100 grams, length is 10-12 cm, diameter is 3.2-3.5 cm. The cucumbers have a crisp texture, lack bitterness, and possess excellent taste qualities both fresh and for canning or pickling.

The hybrid is resistant to diseases such as downy mildew and olive spot, significantly simplifying care and increasing harvest reliability. Due to its characteristics, 'Zavalinka' is suitable for various uses — from fresh consumption to processing into canned goods and pickles. Seed viability lasts 7 years, allowing long-term preservation of planting quality.
