Field experience with the Elvorti Pallada

When you take the Pallada out onto stubble, the first thing you notice is that the discs don’t clog up. After several seasons on both loam and black soil, I can say it's a predictable unit. It’s not the kind of equipment you have to spend days under, but it does demand its regular 50-hour greasing intervals. If you grease the hubs on time, they last a long time, and I haven't faced any bearing wear issues.

Field performance

The key advantage of this harrow is the stepless adjustment of the disc angle. It’s a lifesaver when moving from a field where corn was grown to a dry winter fallow. You don’t need to spend half a day with wrenches: just set the discs to the desired angle and keep moving. The working depth stays consistent, even if the soil is rock-hard. Regarding fuel consumption: at a depth of 10-12 cm with a matching tractor class, the machine doesn't strain the engine; it pulls smoothly.

Maintenance and repair

The Elvorti Pallada has a major advantage for our reality — the availability of spare parts. Any shank, any disc — everything is in stock at local dealers, so you don’t have to wait months for international shipping. The shanks themselves are robust, absorbing stones without deforming, and the spring protection works reliably. One minor detail: keep an eye on the scrapers, otherwise, it will clog up quickly in wet soil. Overall, it’s a workhorse that earns its keep down to the last bolt.
