Systemic crop protection: operational experience with Daifenazol

As a systemic fungicide based on difenoconazole (triazole group), it penetrates plant tissues rapidly, ensuring prolonged internal protection.

Field Application and Efficiency

In the field, this product is valued for its predictability. The suspension concentrate dissolves easily in the spray tank and does not clog nozzles, which is essential during heavy work schedules. Ifagri has covered almost all key agricultural needs: from winter wheat to apple orchards and sunflowers.

• Wheat and Rapeseed: Excellent against septoria and phoma. It works as both a preventative measure and a curative solution for emerging disease spots.
• Sunflower: A reliable barrier against phomopsis. When applied in the correct growth stage, it helps preserve the foliage canopy until harvest.
• Apple: Highly effective at controlling powdery mildew and scab, which is vital in humid seasons.

Operational Details

From an agronomist's perspective, sticking to the regulations is key. The application rate varies from 0.12 to 0.3 l/ha depending on the crop and infection level. With a maximum of 3 treatments per season, it allows for flexible protection strategies without building pathogen resistance. Note that it falls under Hazard Class 2, so using proper personal protective equipment is mandatory, not optional.

The product is quickly absorbed into the plant, showing results almost as soon as the droplets dry on the leaf surface. Throughout our testing, we have had no issues with storage stability: the suspension remains homogenous even after overwintering in a warehouse, provided the temperature guidelines are met.
