The fungicide "Ornament" by the Ukrainian manufacturer Klov is a targeted solution for pre-sowing seed treatment of soybeans and corn. Its primary purpose is to establish a protective shield around the seed, preventing soil-borne and seed-borne infections during the critical germination phase.

Mechanism and Efficacy

The active ingredient, fludioxonil (a phenylpyrrole), provides powerful contact action. Unlike systemic fungicides, it creates a protective barrier in the soil immediately surrounding the planted seed. This is vital for controlling pathogens that strike when the seed first absorbs moisture. The product is effective against:

• Helminthosporiosis: preventing root and sprout damage.
• Fusarium: inhibiting fungal activity to maintain optimal stand density.
• Seed molding: minimizing loss risks under unfavorable post-sowing conditions.

Practical Application for Farm Operations

Farmers and agronomists rely on "Ornament" as a cost-effective tool for treating soybean and corn seeds. As a suspension concentrate, it ensures uniform coverage without clogging seed treatment equipment.

With a dosage of 0.5–1.0 L/t, a single treatment provides robust protection throughout the germination period.
