The active ingredient, aluminum phosphide, reacts with atmospheric moisture to release phosphine gas. With its high penetrating power, the gas fills all voids within the grain bulk, making it indispensable for handling corn, winter wheat, and barley stored in silos or warehouses.

«Aluphos» is provided in tablet form. This format is preferred by farms that prioritize precise dosing and easy application. Depending on infestation levels and storage types, the application rate is set between 0.5 and 1.0 l/t (in equivalent exposure). Crucial: the product is classified as a Category 1 hazard. Handling requires strict adherence to safety protocols, the use of specialized respiratory protection, and certified personnel only.

Successful fumigation relies heavily on facility airtightness. The gas must remain in contact with the pests for a specific duration. Efficiency is dictated by temperature and sealing: the more airtight the storage, the more effective the elimination of all insect life stages, including eggs and larvae.
