The formulation contains the neonicotinoid imidacloprid (150 g/L) and the synthetic pyrethroid lambda-cyhalothrin (50 g/L). This blend ensures a rapid "knockdown" effect followed by systemic suppression of pest populations.

The technical advantage of this formulation lies in the complementary roles of its components:

• Lambda-cyhalothrin (contact action): Affects the nervous system of insects upon direct contact, ensuring immediate paralysis and mortality, which is crucial during high-pressure pest outbreaks.
• Imidacloprid (systemic action): Penetrates the plant’s vascular system and is distributed throughout the plant tissue. Pests feeding on sap or plant parts receive a lethal dose even in areas not directly covered by the spray.

Usage and application standards

"Operkot Akro" is engineered to protect winter wheat and winter oilseed rape against a wide range of pests, including rapeseed beetles, flea beetles, cereal bugs, cereal flies, aphids, and thrips.

• Application rate: 0.5 to 1.0 L/ha, depending on the severity of the infestation.
• Treatment frequency: Up to 2 applications per season.
• Pre-harvest interval: The final treatment must be performed 20–30 days before harvest to ensure biological efficacy while maintaining safety standards for grain residue.

As a Class 2 hazard product, application requires strict adherence to safety protocols. It is recommended to perform spraying under optimal weather conditions (up to +25°C) to maximize the active ingredient’s impact.
