Systemic Mode of Action

"Bombardier" is a high-performance insecticide powered by imidacloprid, a neonicotinoid that revolutionizes plant protection through its systemic movement. Once applied to the leaf surface, the active ingredient is absorbed and transported acropetally, ensuring the entire plant is shielded from within. This is particularly effective against pests that inhabit the undersides of leaves or protected plant structures, where contact-only insecticides often fail. By disrupting nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, it halts pest feeding activity almost immediately, followed by rapid elimination.

Formulation Benefits

The water-dispersible granule (WG) formulation is engineered for maximum operational efficiency. These granules offer excellent shelf stability and solubility, creating a uniform, sediment-free spray solution that preserves the integrity of application equipment, including nozzles and valves. The formulation ensures consistent biological performance even under varying field conditions, providing a residual protective effect that lasts between 20 to 30 days, which helps maintain a low number of required applications (1–2 per season).

Target Pests and Application Specs

The product is highly versatile, effective against a wide range of pests such as the Colorado potato beetle, aphids, thrips, leafhoppers, and cereal beetles. It is suitable for a variety of crops, including winter barley, winter wheat, pome fruits (apple, pear), and vegetables (tomatoes, eggplant, potatoes).

• Application Method: Foliar spraying during the vegetation period.
• Dosage: 0.045–0.15 kg/ha, tailored to specific crop requirements.
• Toxicity Class: 3 (moderately hazardous).
