This is a classic insecto-acaricide featuring two active ingredients — cypermethrin and chlorpyrifos. We use it exclusively by spraying. The emulsifiable concentrate dilutes standardly, and we have had no issues with nozzle clogging — the emulsion remains stable provided you follow the temperature requirements for solution preparation. Key operational aspects:

• Contact action: pests (aphids, thrips, cereal leaf beetles) die almost instantly upon contact with the droplet.
• Systemic protection: chlorpyrifos penetrates plant tissues, which is critical when dealing with hidden pests like cereal flies.
• Versatility: if a field is hit by a complex range of pests, there is no need to mix tank formulations; «Cerber» handles most winter wheat problems in a single pass.

Important Operational Nuances

The product belongs to Hazard Class 2. This demands strict discipline from the equipment operator: a sealed cabin, protective gear, and strict adherence to PPE are not just formalities, but a necessity. We mainly apply it in the evening hours or early morning to avoid spray drift and prevent direct contact with beneficial insects when they are inactive. We adjust the spray volume based on canopy density, but thanks to the high-quality formula, product overuse is rarely an issue.

Maintenance of the sprayer after using «Cerber» is standard: flushing the tank is mandatory, as the oil-based emulsion can leave residue on plastic walls. Overall, it is a reliable «warrior» that provides predictable results in fields with high pest pressure.
