The formulation leverages the synergistic effects of two distinct active ingredients to provide both immediate knockdown and long-lasting protection for cereal crops and fodder beets.

The Chemistry Inside

• Chlorpyrifos: An organophosphate that acts as a potent acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. It provides excellent contact, stomach, and fumigant activity. The fumigant property is essential for reaching pests hidden deep within dense foliage, such as aphids, thrips, and cereal flies.
• Cypermethrin: A synthetic pyrethroid that disrupts the sodium channel function in insect nerve cells. It acts rapidly upon contact, ensuring that insects stop feeding almost immediately after the crop is sprayed.

The emulsifiable concentrate (EC) form ensures that the product is easily miscible with water, creating a stable spray solution that adheres well to plant cuticles, even on waxy leaves of oilseed rape. The formula is optimized to maintain efficacy even during cooler spring weather, when early-season pests like cereal leaf beetles or shield bugs begin to emerge.
