Mode of Action

The efficacy stems from the active ingredient's ability to bind to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect's central nervous system. Clothianidin shows extreme affinity for these receptors, triggering over-stimulation of nerve impulses, paralysis, and rapid mortality of the Colorado potato beetle, rapeseed blossom beetle, and flea beetles.
