The core of the "Fox" insecticide is alpha-cypermethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid belonging to the sodium channel modulator group. Unlike systemic preparations, this emulsifiable concentrate delivers potent contact and stomach activity. Technically, this means that the active ingredient molecules disrupt the nerve cell membrane polarization upon contact with the insect's cuticle. This causes an immediate blockage of nerve impulse transmission, known as the "knockdown effect," resulting in paralysis and rapid pest mortality.

Agrotechnical Application Aspects

The product is engineered to protect winter wheat during peak phytophage activity periods. The primary objective of "Fox" is to control pest populations that damage leaf tissue and ears, including:

• Sunn pest (Eurygaster integriceps);
• Cereal leaf beetle and leafhoppers;
• Aphids and various flea beetle species.

Given the contact-based nature of the product, spray coverage is the critical technical factor. Applying the working solution at a rate of 0.1–0.15 L/ha requires precise sprayer calibration to generate a fine mist capable of penetrating dense crop canopies. The emulsifiable concentrate formulation ensures high solution stability, preventing sedimentation in the spray tank.

Operational Guidelines

To maximize biological efficacy while adhering to safety standards, the following protocols must be observed: 1. The pre-harvest interval is 30 days. 2. A maximum of two treatments per season is permitted to prevent the development of pest resistance. 3. Foliar spraying is most effective during morning or evening hours when air temperatures do not exceed +25°C, which minimizes evaporation and photodegradation of the active ingredient.
