«Tairo Protect» by Hangzhou Ruijiang Chemical Co., Ltd. is a dual-active insecticide that leverages the synergy between cypermethrin and chlorpyrifos. Cypermethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid, provides an immediate «knockdown effect» by disrupting the sodium channels in the pest's nervous system. Simultaneously, chlorpyrifos (an organophosphate) inhibits the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, effectively blocking nerve signal transmission and leading to paralysis and death of the insect.

Control mechanisms and penetration

Formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate, the product ensures optimal leaf surface adhesion. Due to the high lipophilicity of chlorpyrifos, the composition features strong fumigant activity and the ability to penetrate the leaf epidermis, targeting concealed pests such as cereal fly larvae or weevils. The combined contact-systemic action allows for effective control not only of adult insects but also of aphid and flea beetle populations during their early developmental stages.

Agronomic implementation

The use of this insecticide on winter wheat, barley, and fodder beet is highly effective during peak infestation periods. Due to its Class 3 toxicity rating and the characteristics of the active ingredients, it is crucial to maintain application temperatures below +25°C, as organophosphates are prone to rapid evaporation in high heat. The emulsifiable formulation provides a stable working solution and resistance to rainfall, which is critical for protection under variable field conditions.
