Vdala

Lavender "Vdala" – this is a variety of Lavandula angustifolia Mill., known for its high essential oil content (about 1.2% in the first description and 2.35% in the second). The oil is dominated by linalool and its esters with acids, as well as tannins, triterpenoid compounds, and coumarins. These components give the plant a characteristic aroma and make the oil in demand in cosmetology, perfumery, and various industrial sectors.

The culture is distinguished by high flowering yield – 37.1 c/ha, while oil collection reaches 83.6 kg/ha. Thanks to such productivity, "Vdala" is popular among essential oil and aromatic mixture manufacturers. The plant is characterized by a compact bush with a bright violet corolla, making it convenient for cultivation in open ground.

Lavender "Vdala" is widely used as raw material for the production of cosmetic products (oils, creams, lotions), perfume compositions, and flavorings. Due to its high content of linalyl acetate (39.6%), it is also valued for its soothing and antiseptic properties, making it useful in therapeutic spa applications.
