The vegetation period is approximately 85 days, ensuring timely crop maturation. The plant is characterized by a medium stem length, a light blue petal color at full development, and a medium-sized capsule with fringed false septum. The seeds of the variety are yellow in color and have a mass of approximately 4.9 grams per 1000 seeds. A key feature of the 'Itil' variety is the high fat content in the seeds, reaching 44.2-45.9%, as well as a significant amount of linoleic acid — 62.9-64.6%. This makes the oil obtained from the seeds suitable for food use. Yield varies by region: in the Lower Volga region, it is approximately 9.9 centners per hectare, in the Volgograd region — 11.2 c/ha, and in the Saratov region — 7.4 c/ha, which is comparable to or exceeds standard varieties. Additionally, 'Itil' demonstrates high resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, as well as resistance to field diseases. The 'Itil' variety is recommended for cultivation in Russia, especially in regions with a similar climate, due to its adaptability and stable productivity. High oil quality and resistance to adverse factors make this variety attractive for agricultural production and the food industry.
