KINELSKY 2000

Kineisky 2000 is a medium-maturing oilseed flax (Linum usitatissimum L. var. intermedia) variety, characterized by a vegetation period of 70-80 days and plant height of 60-65 cm. The plants are single- or double-stemmed with an upright, round, green stem, the technical part of which reaches 30-35 cm. Leaves are lanceolate in shape, up to 30 mm long, and flowers are gathered in a terminal cymoid inflorescence of loose winding form. Flowers are open, medium-sized (22-24 mm), with blue petals and white staminal threads. Pods are round, medium-sized, with weak shattering, and seeds are brown, egg-shaped, weighing 5-7 grams per 1000 pieces. The variety is distinguished by high drought resistance, resistance to lodging and shedding (4.5 points), as well as good disease resistance, particularly to anthracnose, with infection not exceeding 12%. The root system is taprooted with well-developed lateral roots, which helps secure the plant firmly in the soil and effectively absorb nutrients. Uniform maturation and adaptation to various climatic conditions make Kineisky 2000 convenient for cultivation in different regions. The main advantage of the variety is the high oil content in seeds, reaching 36-43%, with high linolenic acid content (53.3%) and an iodine number of 182. Potential seed yield can reach 2.4 t/ha, ensuring high productivity. Flax oil obtained from Kineisky 2000 seeds is widely used in various industries, including paint and varnish, food, pharmaceutical, soap, and leather industries. The variety was bred using repeated individual selection and has patent protection, confirming its unique breeding qualities.
