The variety is characterized by high resistance to adverse factors: it is completely resistant to flax fatigue and has increased field resistance to Fusarium wilt. In addition, the variety demonstrates good drought resistance, confirmed by ratings from 3.4 to 4.5 points. Seeds of the Y 220 variety are distinguished by their high oil content — up to 45%, with fat content in seeds ranging from 44.3% to 46.2%. The oil is rich in linoleic (42.5-45.3%), linolenic (19.8-25.4%), and oleic (19.4-23.9%) acids. The reduced linolenic acid content contributes to increased oil resistance to oxidation, making it suitable for food use. The potential yield of the variety reaches 25 c/ha, confirming its high productivity. The variety is recommended for cultivation in a wide range of regions, including the Central, Volga-Vyatka, Central Black Earth, North Caucasus, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, Western Siberia, and Eastern Siberia.
