The plant is of medium height with a medium-length stem and a medium-sized corolla; flowers are blue-blue-violet, and seeds are brown. The vegetation period ranges from 64 to 78 days, allowing for effective use of the variety in the North-West and Volga-Vyatka regions. The mass of 1000 seeds reaches 4.8 grams, indicating good seed productivity.

The 'Zaryanka' variety is characterized by a high content of flax fiber in the stem — from 24.1% to 26.2%, with a long fiber yield of about 20.7%. The fiber is characterized by high spinning properties and a relative breaking load of 17.7 gf/ctex, making it in demand for the production of high-quality flax fiber. Seed yield reaches 3.8-5.6 c/ha, and straw yield is about 38.5 c/ha, ensuring a stable and high output of products.

The variety has complex resistance to rust and fusarium, moderate resistance to fusarium wilt of seedlings, and susceptibility to bacterial blight and anthracnose. Additionally, 'Zaryanka' demonstrates good resistance to lodging and shattering, which improves the quality and preservation of the harvest.
