The fruits are large, up to 2 cm in length, with a weight from 0.75 g to 3 g, featuring a thin skin and tender pulp. The berries have a rich dark-blue color, a slightly bumpy surface, and a tart-sweet taste with a light aroma.
The variety is distinguished by high frost resistance (up to -45 °C) and good resistance to diseases and pests, making it easy to care for. It bears fruit from the second or third year after planting, with a yield of 2.5–3.2 kg/bush at a plant height of 1.3–1.5 m. Seedlings are usually planted at the age of one year, with a height of 30–40 cm and planting depth according to the crown.
"Bohdana" grows well in both sunny and semi-shaded areas of the plot, but requires regular watering and moist soil. Cross-pollination is necessary for fruiting; it is recommended to plant it near self-sterile varieties such as "Goluboye Vereteno", "Amfora", or "Nimfa". The bush has a closed root system, and the distance between plants is 0.8–1.5 m, which ensures optimal development and access to light.
