Dymka

Dymka is a medium-sized and weakly spreading blueberry honeysuckle shrub obtained at the Far Eastern Experimental Station of VNIIR. The shrub is characterized by straight shoots of medium length, small lanceolate leaves, and a compact structure, making it easy to plant in limited spaces.

The berries of the Dymka variety are of medium size, weighing about 0.7 g, have a spindle shape and a deep blue color with a waxy bloom. The taste of the berries is sour-sweet, and they have weak sagging, which allows them to be used both for dessert dishes and for mechanical harvesting. The content of vitamin C in the fruits is record-breaking - 82 mg/100 g.

The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and moderate resistance to diseases and pests. The yield is about 2.1 kg per bush and up to 49 centners per hectare under cross-pollination conditions. Dymka is suitable for growing in various climatic conditions due to its flexibility and good adaptability.
