Description
Lonicera 'Elizaveta' is a mid-season variety primarily intended for dessert use. The bush is vigorous and weakly spreading, ensuring good passability and ease of care. Buds are of medium length, curved, colored purple-brown-red, and covered with pubescence. Leaves are large and medium, dark green in color; their blades are pubescent, matte, smooth, and concave, while the leaf base is convex.
The berries of the variety are characterized by an oval-bumpy shape, weighing from 1.2 to 1.8 grams. They are large, juicy, and have a dessert taste, making them popular both fresh and for making compotes, jams, and other dishes. The yield of the variety is approximately 41 centners per hectare.
'Elizaveta' is distinguished by high resistance to heat, drought, and winter conditions, as well as to diseases and pests. The variety is self-sterile, but for optimal fruiting, the presence of 2–3 pollinators nearby is recommended. Due to these characteristics, it is suitable for both home cultivation and industrial technology cultivation under various climatic conditions.
