Description
Lonicera 'Sineglazka' – an early variety with high yield and excellent taste qualities. Bushes reach a height of up to 1.5 m, featuring dense flat shoots of brown-red color with a matte waxy coating. Leaves are dark green, long, and oval, ensuring good photosynthesis and cold resistance.
Fruits are large, elongated, dark blue with a bluish tint and a blue waxy coating. The berry mass ranges from 1.01 to 1.4 g, with a taste rating of 4.5 points – sweet with a slight tartness. The berries have a pleasant aroma and low shedding after ripening, making them convenient for fresh consumption, as well as for making jam, compotes, juices, freezing, and drying.
'Sineglazka' is distinguished by its frost hardiness and adaptation to various soil types, requiring no special care. For optimal pollination, it is recommended to plant two varieties flowering simultaneously nearby (e.g., 'Dlinnoplodnaya' or 'Goluboy Vereteno'). The bush is self-sterile, but joint cultivation increases yield to 2 kg per bush. Thanks to simple care and high productivity, this variety is suitable for both home gardens and small commercial plantations.
