Description
SIBEMOL is a variety of blue lucerne (Medicago sativa L. subsp. sativa) characterized by a medium-late maturity period and a semi-upright bush type. The plant differs in medium height in spring and after the first cutting, while height decreases after the second and third cuttings. Flowers are predominantly blue-violet, with a low frequency of other shades. The variety exhibits good resistance to verticillium wilt, lodging, and nematodes, ensuring its stability and longevity under various growing conditions.
SIBEMOL demonstrates high productivity and record-breaking yields of dry matter and protein. Average yield in the Central region reaches 82.7 c/ha, which is 8.5% higher than the standard, while maximum yield can reach 215.9 c/ha. In the Volga-Vyatka region, average yield is 83.5 c/ha, exceeding the standard by 4.3%, with a maximum indicator of 217.8 c/ha. Average dry matter content varies from 24% to 30.3%, indicating high feed value.
A feature of the variety is a prolonged period of mass growth from spring to autumn, which allows obtaining a stable yield even under drought conditions when other crops experience stress. Thanks to these characteristics, SIBEMOL is a reliable choice for agricultural production, providing high feed value and resistance to adverse factors.
