Credo

Credo F1 Watermelon is an ultra-early hybrid of the Pineapple type, developed by the French company Clause. From seedling transplanting to harvest, it takes only 55-60 days, making this variety a benchmark for early ripening. The plant is strong, with long, sturdy stems and a well-developed root system, densely leafed. During the season, 4-5 uniform fruits form, evenly sized and shaped, ensuring high hybrid productivity.

Credo fruits have an oval shape with a distinctly visible netting on the rind and a rich orange-yellow color. The average fruit weight is 2-2.5 kg, length reaches 22-24 cm, and diameter 16-18 cm. The flesh is light, dense, almost white, with a small seed cavity and minimal seeds. Flavor qualities are excellent: the flesh is sweet, contains 7.5-13% sugar, has a distinctive honey-like flavor and strong aroma. Thanks to these properties, the fruits are highly sought after in fresh markets.

The hybrid is resistant to several diseases, including Fusarium wilt and gray mold, and has moderate resistance to powdery mildew. The plant tolerates prolonged drought and sharp temperature fluctuations, preferring light, loose soils and intense sunlight. To increase yield, regular root watering and two applications of nitrogen fertilizers per season are recommended. The fruits exhibit good storability and transportability, allowing them to retain their market appearance for a long time and be successfully transported over long distances.
