Transmission Engineering

The MTZ 80.1 is equipped with a mechanical 18-speed transmission featuring a reduction gear. This design offers an expansive range of operating speeds, crucial for transitioning between slow-speed cultivation and high-speed transport up to 34 km/h. A core feature is the mechanically actuated rear axle differential lock, providing essential traction management when navigating saturated soils or high-draft fieldwork.

Engine and Power Take-Off (PTO)

The D-243 engine, featuring direct fuel injection, is designed for longevity and ease of maintenance in remote locations. Producing a reliable 81 hp, it delivers consistent torque across its working range. The two-speed independent PTO (540/1000 rpm) is a critical technical asset, enabling seamless integration with both high-torque tillage implements and high-speed machinery like balers, ensuring versatility throughout the crop cycle.

Hydraulics and Implementation

The split-aggregate hydraulic system utilizes an NSH-32 pump capable of delivering up to 45 L/min. With a rear lift capacity of 3200 kg, the MTZ 80.1 handles a broad array of modern attachments. The mechanical linkage design ensures that even heavy implements maintain stability during transit and uniform depth control during operation.
