Malachite

Malachite is a medium-maturing sweet pea variety, maturing in 50-60 days from full flowering to the start of harvest. The pods are straight, 7-9 cm long, tapered at the tip, and lack a parchment layer. Each pod contains 7-9 peas, with thick, fleshy walls that give them a sweet flavor without tough fibers. Yield ranges from 1.0 to 1.5 kg per square meter.

It is recommended to consume immature pods fresh, which allows you to fully enjoy their sweet taste and juicy texture. For planting, choose a sunny location and sow seeds 4-6 cm deep. Plant at a spacing of 15x30 cm, and provide support for plants to ensure proper growth and yield. Harvest usually occurs in July-August.
