VEROCHKA

The 'Verochka' peony belongs to the group of Japanese peonies and features an upright bush with a height ranging from 77 to 83 cm and moderate foliage. The plant's leaves are dark green and smooth, giving the bush a neat and attractive appearance. The peony's flower stems are very sturdy, ensuring reliable support for the flowers and ease of cutting.

The 'Verochka' peony flowers have a spherical shape, non-double structure, and a diameter of approximately 16.6 cm. Their color is dark reddish-brown with yellow staminodes; additionally, the flowers do not fade in the sun and possess a weak aroma. The blooming period begins around June 22, with mass flowering on June 24, and lasts about 16 days, allowing for long enjoyment of the plant's decorativeness.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to adverse weather conditions, diseases, and pests, as well as winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and heat resistance. This makes it an excellent choice for cultivation in various regions, including steppe and forest-steppe zones. Thanks to sturdy flower stems and good productivity (up to 27 flowers per plant), the 'Verochka' peony is suitable for both early-flowering garden bed decoration and cut flowers.
