Description
The fruits are small, flat-round, and orange in color (acquiring a yellowish tint at full maturity). They have a high total sugar content – from 4.07% to 4.7%, allowing them to be used both fresh and for preparing various canned products. The fruits have a sweet-sour taste with a distinct strawberry and pineapple aroma.
Yield reaches 0.7 kg/m², and the plant is characterized by good tolerance to extreme growing conditions. Due to these characteristics, physalis is suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing: pickles, jam, caviar, dried fruits, and other sweet products.
