Gamlet

The seedless squash 'Hamlet' is an ultra-early table variety with a vegetation period of 84 to 90 days. The plant is semi-herbaceous, prefers warmth and sunlight, develops quickly on fertile, loose soils, especially well-suited for organically enriched plots. For successful cultivation, regular watering and feeding are recommended, promoting dense foliage and high-quality fruits.

Fruits of the 'Hamlet' variety have a round-oval shape and bright yellow color with a woody rind. Average fruit weight ranges from 2.6 to 4.2 kilograms. The flesh is creamy, medium-thick (3 to 5 cm), tender, fiberless, with an excellent sweet taste, making it universally suitable for culinary use. Fruits begin to ripen as early as July, enabling an early harvest.

A distinctive feature of this variety is its green, naked seeds without a hard shell, which is the primary purpose of 'Hamlet' — obtaining high-quality seed material. The 1000-seed weight ranges from 178 to 250 grams. In addition to seeds, squash flesh can be used for preparing various dishes and as feed, expanding the applications of this variety.
