KAOORI KURI PUMPKIN

The KAOORI KURI pumpkin variety is a hybrid of red pumpkin with bright red skin adorned with orange stripes. The fruits have an oval shape, with a diameter ranging from 15 to 20 cm and a weight varying between 1.2–1.8 kg. A distinctive feature is the lack of ribbing and a bright, rich taste, making this variety particularly appealing to consumers. Thanks to the portion-sized fruits, the pumpkin is convenient for use and storage.

The plant is characterized by strong growth and the formation of up to five fruits per plant. Medium-length vines ensure ease of care and harvest collection. When grown with irrigation, several harvests per season are possible, increasing overall yield. The variety is suitable for cultivation in open ground and organic farming, expanding its application possibilities in various agrotechnical conditions.

KAOORI KURI possesses high resistance to a range of viral diseases, including soil mosaic virus, ZYMV, WMV, and PRSV viruses, contributing to a stable harvest and reduced losses. Fruits are well-transported over long distances, maintaining their taste and commercial qualities. The pumpkin storage period reaches six months, allowing for extended use after harvest.
