SWEET FAIRY

The 'Sweet Fairy' pumpkin variety is mid-to-late season and reliable, with a period from germination to harvest of about 108-140 days. The plant is vining, which allows forming several fruits on one bush. The fruits have a flat-round shape, yellow color with green stripes, and a mass of 5 to 8 kg. The pumpkin flesh is dense, yellow, and has a pleasant taste, making the variety universal for fresh consumption, processing, and storage.

This variety is characterized by high resistance to diseases, which significantly eases care and increases yield. The pumpkin has good transportability and storage quality, which allows maintaining the quality of fruits for a long time after harvest. Growing is possible both by seedling method, with sowing seeds in April and transplanting to open ground in May-June, and by direct sowing in open ground at the end of May – beginning of June. The optimal soil temperature for seed germination is 25-30 °C, and the recommended planting scheme is 100×150 cm.

The variety responds well to the application of organic fertilizers, which contributes to improved growth and fruit quality. Due to its characteristics, 'Sweet Fairy' is suitable for various methods of use: from home cooking to processing into juices and dietary food. High content of useful substances and resistance to unfavorable conditions make this variety attractive for gardeners and farmers.
