The Anniston rapeseed hybrid is a mid-early, erucic acid-free variety developed for efficient cultivation in the Polissia and Forest Steppe regions of Ukraine. It is characterized by high yield potential, reaching up to 71 centners per hectare, and high adaptability to various climatic and soil conditions. Rapeseed Anniston exhibits rapid spring development and forms a strong root system, contributing to its resilience against adverse environmental factors.
One of the key features of this hybrid is its genetic resistance to major rapeseed diseases, including turnip yellow mosaic virus (TuYV) and phoma (gene RLM7). Additionally, the variety shows high resistance to cold, drought, pod cracking, verticillium wilt, and cylindrosporiasis, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses and enhancing production stability.
