Goya

Goya rapeseed hybrid is a modern breeding development with high resistance to adverse climatic conditions. Seeds of this variety demonstrate excellent cold tolerance, surviving temperatures down to -32°C at soil surface even in snowless winters. Plants reach a height of about 170 cm and are characterized by high oil concentration in seeds — 48.2%, making them particularly attractive for oil production.

Goya exhibits resistance to a range of common diseases, including fusarium, black leg, downy mildew, sclerotinia, alternaria, and bacterial diseases. Glucosinolate content in seeds is low — less than 12 μmol/g, and erucic acid content is minimal (0.0–0.2%), which improves the quality of the extracted oil and makes it safer for use. The yield potential of the hybrid reaches 72 centners per hectare, with an optimal sowing rate of 0.6–0.8 million seeds per hectare.

In addition, the Goya hybrid shows high resistance to winter conditions and drought, as confirmed by ratings on a ten-point scale. These characteristics make it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic zones. Thanks to its qualities, Goya is a promising variety for obtaining high-quality rapeseed oil with high yield and stable productivity.
