GRANDIE

The winter rapeseed hybrid GRANDIE is a medium-maturing variety with a high yield potential reaching 60-65 centners per hectare. It is characterized by rapid autumn growth, which contributes to good compensatory capacity due to intensive branching. Plant height reaches about 160 cm, and the 1000-seed mass is 5.2-6 g. The oil content of the seeds is high — around 49%, making this hybrid attractive for oil production.

GRANDIE exhibits high adaptability to various soil-climate conditions, including the Polesie, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine. The hybrid is resistant to a broad spectrum of diseases, including phomopsis (with the RLM7 gene), verticillium, alternaria, white spot, bacterial disease, blackleg, downy mildew, sclerotinia, and the turnip yellow mosaic virus (TuYV). In addition, it possesses enhanced winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and resistance to lodging and pod cracking, ensuring crop protection and seed quality.

Recommended sowing dates for the hybrid GRANDIE are medium to late, with a seeding rate of 350,000 to 500,000 seeds per hectare. The cultivation technology is conventional, making this hybrid universal and convenient for farmers. Thanks to its characteristics and resistance to adverse factors, GRANDIE is a reliable choice for obtaining stable and high yields of rapeseed across various regions of Ukraine.
