Description
Grim is an early-maturing winter rapeseed hybrid with a vegetation period of approximately 300–305 days and high yield potential up to 70–71 c/ha. It is characterized by strong and plastic growth, ensuring rapid spring emergence and efficient water use. Plant height reaches 176 cm, and oil content in seeds is about 47.5–48%, making this hybrid attractive for obtaining marketable crops and raw material for technical or feed use.
The hybrid Grim exhibits high resistance to adverse environmental factors, including frost and drought, with a resistance rating of 9 points. It also shows resistance to lodging and shattering, which helps preserve the harvest. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates low susceptibility to major rapeseed diseases such as phomopsis, black leg, downy mildew, sclerotinia, and bacterial blight, significantly reducing the risk of losses and enhancing yield stability.
The recommended sowing rate ranges from 350,000 to 800,000 seeds per hectare depending on growing conditions. The hybrid successfully grows in various agroclimatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions. Producer: VNILS, registered in 2018. Thanks to its high adaptability and stable productivity, Grim is an optimal choice for farmers aiming to produce high-quality, high-yield rapeseed.
