Description
To achieve maximum yield potential, which can reach up to 50 c/ha, SY LIONETTA is recommended for cultivation on well-prepared, fertile soils with good drainage. Optimal sowing times vary depending on region and climate, but early sowing is preferred to fully utilize the growing season. Sowing rate ranges from 450,000 to 600,000 seeds per hectare, depending on soil type and growing conditions. Key agronomic practices include deep plowing and soil surface leveling, timely application of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers, and regular irrigation during dry periods.
SY LIONETTA also demonstrates strong weed competitiveness due to vigorous early growth, reducing the number of herbicide applications and promoting more environmentally friendly farming. The seeds are treated with the insecticide seed treatment CRUISER, providing reliable protection against pests during early growth stages, including aphids, rapeseed hidden-feeding weevil, leaf-eating caterpillars, and cabbage pod borer. Due to these characteristics, the hybrid is recommended for cultivation across all rapeseed-growing regions of Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe zones.
