The Primabla® BP1522 raspberry variety is a new early-ripening remontant cultivar developed by the Italian company Berryplant. It is characterized by high productivity and early ripening, allowing harvests to be obtained in a shorter time frame. The berries of this variety have a bright red color, firm texture, and an excellent dessert flavor with a distinctive raspberry aroma, making them particularly attractive to consumers.

Primabla® BP1522 plants form strong upright canes that do not tend to droop, making it possible to grow this variety without trellising. High remontancy allows for a second harvest during the season. The open habit of the plant facilitates berry harvesting, significantly simplifying maintenance and increasing harvesting efficiency.

In addition, the berries of this variety have excellent transportability and storability, allowing them to retain quality during transportation and storage. The variety is also characterized by resistance to major raspberry diseases, contributing to stable high yields and reducing crop protection costs.
