Early Surprise

The Early Surprise raspberry is a remontant, high-yield variety known for its ability to adapt to various climatic conditions. The bushes of this variety reach heights of about two meters, feature a compact shape and dense inflorescences that cover almost the entire branch. The plant is of medium height, with thick and sturdy canes bearing numerous thorns. The foliage is bright, giving the bush a decorative appearance.

The Early Surprise berries are large, weighing from 6 to 10 grams and more, with an oval or slightly elongated shape and a rich pink-red color. The fruits are firm, elastic, with a sweet-and-sour dessert flavor, making them attractive for fresh consumption. The variety is characterized by an early maturity: the first berries appear as early as mid-June, while the second crop ripens at the end of summer, allowing for two harvests per season.

The yield of the variety is high – with proper care, one bush can yield from 4 to 5 kilograms of berries and more. Early Surprise has good winter hardiness and moderate drought resistance. It is resistant to viral diseases, but requires attention to the prevention of fungal infections. Planting and care for this variety are not difficult, making it suitable for both experienced gardeners and beginners.
